Cruises and Tours
Where is my meeting point in Lagos?
Our meeting point is located at gate EFGHI in Marina de Lagos and we recommend you to be there 15 minutes before the activity starts. Please note that for our Grotto and Jet Boat Tours the meeting point is by Discovers Tours Office locate in store 13 of the Lagos Marina, next to the Artesão coffee bar.
If you still have outstanding payments to Discover Tours please check-in at our office 30 minutes before your activity starts.
Where is my meeting point in Portimão?
Our meeting point is located in Marina de Portimão south comercial area near the beach, and we recommend you to be there 20 minutes before the activity starts.

Where is your office in Lagos?
Our office is located in Marina de Lagos, store number 13
Where is your office in Portimão?
Our office is located in Marina de Portimão, in the south comercial area near the beach.
Do you offer a pick-up service?
At this moment we don’t offer a Pick-Up or Drop-Off service.
I am running late. What should I do?
If you are running late please head straight to your meeting point and contact Discover Tours team at +351913020772 (Lagos) or +351968474280 (Portimão)
What should I wear or bring?
Do you have toilettes on board?
All of our activities offer toilettes on board with the exception of our Grotto and Jet Boat Tours.
I am pregnant / I have an infant. Can we join your cruises?
Our Catamaran Cruises and Grotto Tours are suitable for all ages and for pregnant women as well. However the Kayak and Jet Boat Tours aren’t recommended for pregnant women and they have age restrictions.
Only children above the age of 6 on the Kayak Tours and above 8 on the Jet Boat Tours are allowed to participate.
Are your cruises wheelchair and baby stroller accessible?
For the moment, sadly our activities aren’t wheelchair accessible, but we do allow for baby strollers and you can access our boats with them. No problem.
I have a dietary restriction? Can you accommodate it?
On our trips with meals included we have Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options. However, you will need to contact us up to 24 hours before the tour so that we can arrange the option you want.
If you have any food allergies, please indicate this on the booking form.
Do I need to pre-order my meal?
Yes, for tours with meals included, please let us know your preference so that we can respond appropriately. If you booked through one of our agents, you can use the contact form or contact us directly by email at info@discover.pt, at least 24 hours before the start of the tour.
What is the composition of the menu for the Golden Coast Cruise?
The menu consists of a chicken bowl or a vegetarian bowl and a dessert.

Do you accept card payments on board?
Yes, we accept cash and card payments on board.
Do you speak English on board?
Yes, we offer English and Portuguese live commentary on board for all of our Cruises and Tours.
Do you have lifejackets on board?
Yes. All of our boats are equipped with lifejackets and all the safety gear recommended by Portuguese Law and Maritime authorities.
Are you crew licensed?
Yes. All of our crew is fully licensed.

Reservations and Ticketing
Can I book online?
Yes, all of our activities are bookable online at both discover.pt and jetboatlagos.com
Do you accept mobile vouchers?
Yes, we accept mobile vouchers for all of our Cruises and Tours.
I have booked through an agent. Do I need to print my ticket?
No, there is no need to print your ticket. If you own a smartphone, your email confirmation or mobile voucher are both valid.
Can I make a phone reservation?
We do not offer phone bookings. If you like to book our activities, please use our website or one of our Points of Sale.

Do you accept card payment? What about Paypal?
Yes, we accept all card payments and PayPal through our website. However, at our Office and points of sale we don’t accept American Express card payments.

Does Discover Tours offer discounts?
Yes, we usually run discount campaigns during specific periods and for various tours.
For 2025, we have the following discounts:
10% off all tours, except the Golden Coast Cruise, from April to June and from September to October.
Just enter ALLABOARD10 in the promo code field on the booking form.
On social media, Instagram and Facebook, we also regularly run giveaways and challenges with prizes and discounts.
In addition, booking directly with us brings several benefits, such as:
- Easier communication with the team providing the service.
- Personalized advice to help you choose the best experience for you.
- You will receive all tour information via email and SMS.
- 24 hours before the tour, you will receive a reminder with the meeting point location.

Cancellations and Rebooking
What is your cancellation policy?
All of our bookings have a flexible cancellation policy allowing for cancellations until 24 hours before the activity starts.
I am running late. What should I do?
If you are running late please head straight to your meeting point and contact Discover Tours team at +351913020772 (Lagos) or +351968474280 (Portimão)
Do you offer refunds? What should I do?
Our cancellation policy allows for cancellations until 24 hours before the activity starts and if you need to cancel before that we can create a voucher or gift card for future cruises or tours. Before the 24 hour period we can issue a full refund, no problem.
Can I reschedule my booking?
Yes, you can. We can reschedule you according to our daily availability and activity.
One of us feels sick. Can he/she cancel?
If you need to cancel until 24 hours before the activity starts you can but you need to inform us as soon as possible.
If this request is made less than 24 hours before the start of the tour, we will accept the cancellation, but a refund will not be issued.
